The cobalt blue ovoid body painted with two reserves, one depicting a romantic scene, the other a river landscape within elaborate gilding, indistinctly signed, mounted at top with winged figural and foliate handles, raised on removable porcelain and gilt bronze base, bearing Sèvres “Louis Philippe – 1844” printed mark, destination (Chateau des Tuileries) and date mark S.37.
