Each with leaf-carved, gessoed, and gilt frame set with Aubusson upholstery. A his-and-hers suite:
His chair: approx. 96.5 × 61 × 56 cm (38 × 24 × 22 in.)
Hers: approx. 95 × 70 × 64 cm (37.5 × 27.5 × 25 in.)
Condition:
Upholstery with splits, separations, and wear, showing sun fading.
His chair has a loose cushion; hers has no cushion, some retouching to arm upholstery, and one puncture.
Frames display wear, scattered chips, and losses to gilding throughout, with some areas of retouch.
